Steve Lipovas
Steven is an certified Australian PGA member and has 14 years experience in the golf industry. Steven is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Sport and has played a number of tour events before becoming the club professional at Rossdale in 2003. After 8 years at Rossdale, joined the team at Anglesea in 2011 to continue his passion to grow the game of golf.
Steven has now been with at Anglesea Golf Club for 3 and a half years and is always looking to improve his own personal knowledge, increase store presence for the ultimate customer experience.
Steven has many years of experience in teaching and is a professional club fitter. Steven teaches players of all levels and he's philosophy is to work within the student's skill level to enhance their playing ability.
Jason Kraan
Jason has been a member of the team since August 2009, in which time he has become an integral part of the team. Originally from Southern Golf Club and completing the bulk of his trainee period at Heidelberg Golf Club, he has extensive experience within a club environment.
Now a fully qualified member of the PGA. Jason’s pleasant manner helps to build a strong team of PGA professionals at Anglesea Golf Club. He prides himself on attending to member and customer needs promptly and with a friendly manner.
Jason has a real passion for teaching and is available for lessons for players of all abilities. Jason is constantly looking to improve his skills and is currently in the final stages of his PGA training. He has studied under many top golf coaches and club fitters including David Leadbetter, Ian Triggs, Peter Knight, and many others. He is now keen to pass on his accumulated knowledge of the golf swing for the benefit of his students.
Ian Dodgshun
Ian began his golfing life at Riversdale GC as a junior. He did his professional traineeship appropriately at the exclusive Woodlands GC on Melbourne’s sand belt. After spending five years at Woodlands GC, Ian accepted the role of Head Professional at Anglesea GC, which he held for 34 years. During this time he has been a respected member of the PGA and well regarded amongst Anglesea’s members. His friendly nature and quick wit is renowned throughout the local golf fraternity, whilst his skills with the microphone and behind the cash register are legendary.
Ian is a valued member of the team at Anglesea Golf Shop, his product knowledge combined with a vast experience in a club environment make him a great resource for our members and visitors.
